The FBI on Sunday issued the strongest warning to date about possible attacks by the ISISterrorist group against the U.S. military inside the homeland, officials tell ABC News.
In a joint intelligence bulletin issued overnight by the FBI with the Department of Homeland Security, officials strongly urged those who serve in uniform to scrub their social media accounts of anything that might bring unwanted attention from "violent extremists" or would help the extremists learn individual service members' identities.
"The FBI and DHS recommend that current and former members of the military review their online social media accounts for any information that might serve to attract the attention of ISIL [ISIS] and its supporters," the federal bulletin sent to law enforcement agencies said, advising that troops "routinely exercise operational security in their interactions online."
Officials said they fear copycat attacks based on what happened in Canada last month, when two uniformed Canadian soldiers were killed in two separate incidents by young men who claimed they were ISIS followers. {more}

BREAKING: Marine Jailed in Mexico Gets Happy News!
BREAKING: Marine Jailed in Mexico Gets Happy News! His Family Will be Thrilled After Learning This.
President Obama could have released our Marine months ago with a simple phone call, but has refused to do so. Thanks to these conservatives in the House, Andrew will finally return to his family.
Huge news out of Washington, D.C.! Lawmakers from the House Foreign Affairs Committee made an announcement about Sgt. Andrew Tahmooressi, the Marine who has been wrongly held in a filthy Mexican prison for 7 months and is already suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
Apparently, he will be released!
As first reported by The Blaze, Andrew – thanks to the hard work of Committee Chairman Rep. Ed Royce (R-CA) and the conversations he had with Mexican government officials – will receive “humanitarian release” soon.
As Royce announced:
Last week I had a good and productive conversation with the Mexican Attorney General and am confident that a humanitarian release of Andrew will occur very soon so he can start getting better.
In addition, conservative champion Rep. Matt Salmon, (R-AZ) said that the Attorney General of Mexico told lawmakers that if they’re able to submit proof that Tahmooressi has PTSD, then they would release him from prison. He added that they had just sent Tahmooressi’s medical file and expert testimony to Mexican authorities, and now we wait for his release due to his serious medical conditions.
His detention has also led to some frustrations with the Obama administration, which many say has not done enough to press Mexico on Tahmooressi’s release.
“I am mystified that President Obama couldn’t find time, between negotiating with terrorists, to call our ally, the Mexican president, to appeal to him on behalf of our Marine,” Salmon said
“The fact is that Mexican citizens violate U.S. law on a regular and continuing basis, illegally crossing our southern border,” Salmon added. “Mexican officials respond by asking the U.S. for compassion and amnesty for their citizens to remain in the U.S. But frankly, compassion goes both ways.”
Here is a picture of Rep. Royce visiting Andrew earlier this Summer:

Rare Footage of President Ronald Reagan Speaking the Gospel
Being the president of the United States is not an easy task and he knew God had his hand over his Presidency. President Ronald Reagan was a man after God's own heart. This is possibly the most profound and inspiring video tributes to President Reagan that you will ever see

Project Vigil: D-Day 2014, The saluting boy on Omaha beach
When police barred this 11-year-old boy from the American Cemetery in Normandy, he decided to go another route. While watching the video, my eyes welled up with tears at the extreme patriotism this young man stood for despite being barred from the cemetery. He and his father had gone so the boy could do a remembrance of 3 of the Paratroopers buried there, and it was a 4 day long project.
The boy was dressed in a WWII paratrooper uniform while educating others on the 3 paratroopers he picked to do the project on. This was one of the gestures of respect he wanted to offer that got him removed from the American cemetery.
In an excerpt from The Veterans Site, they said:
This is a young boy’s idea. It has no sophistication in it. It is done with the simple honesty of youth. He cannot know what the veterans and the fallen he honors know, except in the fertile imagination of youth. But his gesture is full of dignity. His stance is not “professional” — his understanding of such things is not formed by experience. But it does not matter. Everyone who sees him, the tourists and the veterans alike that are there for the same purpose, understands his intentions. They begin to take pictures or him or of themselves standing near him. A veteran stands in front of him briefly and offers a respectful salute. ~The Veterans Site
I have never seen such great patriotism from a child this young. It warms my heart and gives me hope that our future generations will pick up where we leave off. All the best to this young man in the future.
Toddler ignores military protocol, greets mom
The 3-year-old boy could not wait for his mom to be dismissed after serving nine months in Afghanistan with the National Guard's 114th Transportation Company based in Chisholm. Tuesday morning he ran to her while she and her fellow soldiers stood in line waiting to be dismissed. "I was longing to hold him, that's all that I thought about," said his mother, Kathryn Waldvogel, 25.
Her first sergeant told her and the other soldiers they would file in to the auditorium and would be dismissed shortly. But they were not to say hello to family members because it would take too long. Cooper took care of that, running to his mother's arms. "All of a sudden we had to file into the building and get into formation, and I just look up and Cooper and my mom are right there," she said. "He just kept smiling like he was in awe of me," she said. A KARE 11 photographer captured the moment, which was then posted on KARE 11's Facebook page.
Tens of thousands of people liked and shared the posted, not to mention commented on it. "This one," she said while reading the posts. "It was probably the most tear jerking, humbling 26 seconds I've seen in a long time." The support from the public and her son is overwhelming. "It melts my heart, it's so great," she said. But this wasn't the first time little Cooper and his family had to wait for a loved one's arrival. "He kind of did the same thing for me," said Cooper's dad, Adam Waldvogel, 26. Kathryn's husband returned from serving in Afghanistan with the National Guard in December.
He was with the 850th Horizontal Engineers. With their deployments overlapping, Adam and Kathryn haven't seen each other in 19 months. "I can't even imagine that's she's home right now," he said with a smile. That means Cooper's been without his parents in the same spot for more than a third of his life. "He's the definition of resiliency, that's for sure," said Adam. So you can understand why Cooper wants it to last as long as possible. "Can we play all day," he asked his mom.

Your Comments Are Greatly Appreciated For My Upcoming Decision !
Hello Everyone,
I recently saw that many of our military related pages on the many social media outlets in my opinion are not providing the recognition that I think those service members who have made the ultimate sacrifice and paid for our freedom with their lives should get.
I have been torn between two options for this blog. I'll explain. In the past all of the videos that have been featured here have all been videos and pictures of many happy homecomings. This is what I originally had in mind when I created Military Homecomings.
Now out of respect for all who have and will be appearing here on Military Homecomings and their family members I have decided to ask for your opinion before moving forward.
I would like to start adding videos and pictures of fallen soldiers as well as those who have had joyous returns from their assignments. I feel that this site with all it's members of the armed forces would be the ideal place to share their video and photos. They would be in the company of their brothers and sisters.
I ask that you take a moment to give me your feedback so that I can respectfully make my decision. Up to now this site has served to show for videos many a happy occasion but I would like to start adding those who were not as lucky to make it home.
At this time I am asking that you provide me with your feedback. Please do so, by sending an email to info@militaryhomecomings.com or using the comment option below this post.
It is out of respect for all our troops that I have decided to make my decision on what our troops feel is the correct thing to do.
I am forever grateful to all that have served our country and the sacrifices that have been made by their families.
What you men and women do everyday of your lives can never be repaid.
Thank You !
Sincerely,
Artie Ayala

Raise your voices, this Marine needs to come home NOW !
Raise your voices, this Marine needs to come home and he needs to come home now ....he has been jailed in Mexico for 5 months while our government sits idle and does nothing!
U.S. Marine Sgt. Andrew Tahmooressi served two tours in Afghanistan for our country, yet the administration has done little – if anything – to fight for his freedom from incarceration in Mexico. I have cosponsored a resolution demanding that the president act to immediately secure Sgt. Tahmooressi’s release and bring this Marine home to the country he has so faithfully served.
In this video, Congressman Stockman urges the American people to help free Andrew Tahmooressi, a Marine combat veteran who was unjustly put in a Mexican prison, by contacting the Mexican embassy and raising awareness on Twitter with the hashtag #BringBackOurMarine.

Donate to the Lone Survivor Fund !
The Navy SEAL Foundation was established to support U.S. Navy SEALs, Special Warfare Combatant-craft Crewman, Naval Special Warfare (NSW) support personnel, and their families. The Foundation’s work is focused on five pillars: warrior support and family services, educational opportunities, tragedy assistance, survivor support, and legacy activities. Through the generosity of donors, the Navy SEAL Foundation provided more than $4.2 million in 2012 to help set the conditions that enable NSW operators and their family members to not only be successful, but to achieve their fullest potential. Among other vital areas of support, the Foundation provided scholarships and tuition assistance for more than 1,000 NSW personnel and their dependents; more than $500,000 to help cover critical costs during times of tragedy for families; and over $409,000 for child development programs.
Got Your 6 is a collective impact campaign designed to help bridge the military-civilian divide. Combining the reach and resources of the entertainment industry with the expertise and commitment of more than 30 non-profit organizations, the campaign works to advance the conversation in America so veterans and military families are seen as leaders and civic assets who will invigorate our communities. In 2013, Got Your 6 distributed grants totaling nearly $3 million to a dozen veteran-focused non-profit partners.
The Lone Survivor Foundation restores, empowers, and renews hope for our wounded service members and their families through health, wellness, and therapeutic support. The vision of the Lone Survivor Foundation is to provide exceptional therapeutic, outdoor, and unique opportunities that optimize recovery and healing of affected American wounded service members and their families.

Military mom’s surprise homecoming goes viral
Arguably one of the most emotional videos taken at Camp Randall Stadium has nothing to do with a football game, and now it’s going viral.
Submarine comes home on both coasts in time for holidays
The silent service hosted a homecoming Wednesday out west, with another scheduled for Friday on the East Coast as submarine crews return home in time for the holidays.
The attack submarine Hampton returned to San Diego on Wednesday after a six-month deployment in the Western Pacific, including port visits in Japan, Singapore, Guam and the Philippines.
The boat, one of six Los Angeles-class subs homeported in San Diego, left home June 18 following a series of training exercises off the California coast.
“I am proud of the tremendous effort the crew has put into being successful and for the support and encouragement from our great families,” Capt. Lincoln Reifsteck, Hampton’s commanding officer, said in a Thursday news release announcing the homecoming. “The men have done exceptionally well, and it shows.”
In the east, the attack submarine Missouri will return Friday to Naval Submarine Base New London, Conn., after its inaugural overseas deployment, which also began in mid-June. Port visits for the Virginia-class boat, which was commissioned in July 2010, included England, Scotland and Norway.
The submarine is the fifth Navy vessel to bear the name Missouri and the first since the battleship that hosted Japan’s surrender at the close of World War II.
Cmdr. Mike Luckett commanded the sub on its maiden deployment, having taken over in April 2012 from Cmdr. Tim Rexrode, who shepherded Missouri and its crew of more than 130 sailors crew through the commissioning process.
